Easter Outfit

Easter is one of those occasions I can remember always going out and getting a pretty new dress. This year I picked up a The Limited dress ($12 down from $89) and a little green clutch(previous year). Being on a budget is not a good reason to dress cheaply! Buy out of season classics!

Michael Kors Hamilton

My ultimate favorite accessory is a purse! My Michael East West Hamilton in ocean blue with silver hardware was my first contemporary designer bag. I found him at TJMaxx for $150 in the Winter of 2010! I still think it looks fabulous and this shade of blue is subtle enough to o with much of my wardrobe. Another great way to get a Hamilton for less than retail ($300) is to watch the Macy’s and Dillard’s F&F sales to get about 30% off retail.

High Winds

March is the best season to buy winter clothing! It has all hit the clearance rack but isn’t down to just the odd sizes and colors.
These past few weeks in the hill country, winds have been as high as 50mph! Playing tennis in those winds is freezing.
This past Friday I busted American Eagle because their clearance section was an additional 50% off. I found this lovely white coat for a mere $15! The collar is a velour that matches the rest of the coat. Anchors are impressed on the buttons for a preppy finish.

Spring Break Nails

Spring break is here! To celebrate the first official day of break I did my nails in colorful hues. I used a Dior base coat and top coat from the Dior manicure collection. The colored polish is Slushied by OPI with silver OPI glitter!

My overall costs:
Glitter-$3 clearance (originally $9)
Polish-$3 clearance ($9)
Manicure set-$24 clearance($62)

My total price was $30 in the end with a savings of $50!

Every year I struggle to put together homecoming ensembles in my price range. Those $120 dresses from Dillard’s no longer cut it. I went with a classic little black dress and matching accessories. The dress is from H&M for a grand total of $16.99 from their divided collection. The heels are from DSW designed by Lulu Townsend. They were originally $105 but I snagged them for just $21 during DSW’s clearance event. The clutch was reclaimed from prom, but was picked up for $11.99 at stein mart,
but retailed at $45. My entire outfit retailed for $167 but I only paid $50 for it.

My school has spirit days to get out of uniform, this was one of the more fun ones! From left to right is Aria, Spencer, and Hanna.
